چکیده

Maintenance of soil health is foremost importance to sustain and increase crop productivity, while meeting the demand a rising global population. Soil microbiome gaining increasing attention as modulator health. Microbial communities confer traits living organism, which functions holistically conforms part plant holobiont, reassembling human-gut axis. Novel strategies in biostimulant development advocate for modulation native reinforcement microbial networking outpace pathogen inclusion. Consequently, we hypothesize that Terramin® Pro may promotes beneficial microorganisms, depending on microbiota soil, would lead an improvement performance indicators. We proposed microbiome-based approach characterize effect L-α-amino acid based (Terramin® Pro) resulting phenotypes lettuce cultivars (Lactuca sativa L.) address our hypothesis. First, product application promoted Actinobacteria group assorted soils with different track agronomic practices. Secondly, improved chlorophyll content particular deviating from standard conditions, i.e., sick or uncultivated ones. Specially, observed at 30 L ha−1 phenotype, potentially entomopathogenic fungi (Beauveria Metarhizium spp.) suppressed other disease-related (Olpidium nematode-infested soils. Further investigations could deepen into sustainable prebiotic strategy indigenous microbiota, through in-house modulation, even additional crops.

Removal of Cysteine (an Aliphatic Amino Acid) by Natural Clinoptilolite

Amino acids have been extensively used in several processes of the pharmaceutical and food industries. Treatments for the recovery and reuse of the wastewaters generated from these processes are few and little known. This work aims at studying the influence of different variables on the sorption of L-cysteine, contained in aqueous solutions, on clinoptilolite mineral. L-Cysteine (Cys) was s...

An L-threonine transaldolase is required for L-threo-β-hydroxy-α-amino acid assembly during obafluorin biosynthesis

β-Lactone natural products occur infrequently in nature but possess a variety of potent and valuable biological activities. They are commonly derived from β-hydroxy-α-amino acids, which are themselves valuable chiral building blocks for chemical synthesis and precursors to numerous important medicines. However, despite a number of excellent synthetic methods for their asymmetric synthesis, few ...

Effect of the soil type on the microbiome in the rhizosphere of field-grown lettuce

The complex and enormous diversity of microorganisms associated with plant roots is important for plant health and growth and is shaped by numerous factors. This study aimed to unravel the effects of the soil type on bacterial communities in the rhizosphere of field-grown lettuce. We used an experimental plot system with three different soil types that were stored at the same site for 10 years ...

One-step biosynthesis of α-ketoisocaproate from l-leucine by an Escherichia coli whole-cell biocatalyst expressing an l-amino acid deaminase from Proteus vulgaris

This work aimed to develop a whole-cell biotransformation process for the production of α-ketoisocaproate from L-leucine. A recombinant Escherichia coli strain was constructed by expressing an L-amino acid deaminase from Proteus vulgaris. To enhance α-ketoisocaproate production, the reaction conditions were optimized as follows: whole-cell biocatalyst 0.8 g/L, leucine concentration 13.1 g/L, te...
